Brian D. Crecente at GameZilla has put up his review of the 'Star Trek: Voyager Elite Force' Expansion.
I can't figure out what made them decide to connect such a mediocre feature as the Virtual Voyager with such a strong game as Elite Force. I think it must be because they wanted to beef up what they were giving customers, which also explains the wallpaper add-ons. But even with that, calling this release an Expansion Pack is overstating things -- it's really more of a module or add-on.
You can read the full analysis, in which the game is awarded a 75% score, by following this link to Gamezilla.

At Gamezone, Michael Lafferty also reviewed the Expansion pack. He awarded the game 7 out of 10, praising the new multi player options. "Each of the expansion programs plays well, and seamlessly. The new maps are well done. And the multiplayer action is intense. It comes down to a question of new-ness, something this program seems to be lacking a great deal of." GamePen have put up their review of the Elite Force Expansion Pack.
The expansion pack costs $20, and even that seems a bit much for what it offers. The advice this reviewer would have is to simply download the latest patch, and pass on the expansion pack til it's well below $10. Raven gave us a great Trek game, but one wishes they'd have put a little more effort towards making a meatier expansion pack.
The full review, in which the game is awarded 2 and 1/2 stars, can be found here at GamePen.
