Hello World!
Today, again, I find inspiration deserts me. This may have something to do with the headache I've developed after painstakingly updating the SlipstreamWeb Episode guide… of course, the headache may actually have nothing to do with hat but I'll say it does so I can complain to Christian about it. As the great holodoctor once said: "I'll complain if I want to. It's comforting". You should try it some time.
I'd actually have a lot less to complain about if the weather around here would actually act like it's supposed to – less than a month away from summer, I'm still running around in jeans, sweatshirts and explorer socks – the thick, wolly sort. Mind you, that's what I wear right up until the thermometer hits 30 degrees C, but that's just me. Everyone else is complaining too. While we may not be getting floods like the poor buggers in England, the screwy weather patterns over here, in addition to the 7-or-8 year locust cycle, have wreaked merry havoc on the wheatbelt, resulting in the poorest crop yields for decades. Actually, I think the only thing at the moment that's enjoying this chilly, wet weather is out front lawn, which made a miraculous recovery from it's usually brown state.
