Hello World!
Isn't it funny how in winter you think you would always prefer warm weather over the cold you have then, while in summer it's exactly the other way around? We've been having temperatures of more than 25 degrees Celcius for nearly a week now, and while that's of course great when you're outside, in here it's absolutely horrendous. I've tried every tactic I could think of to keep the heat out - opening all windows and curtains, to let fresh air get in, and closing them all, to keep the heat out. Neither seem to be really working, though. It's at times like this when I realise the downsides of living in a former military barracks: air-conditioning apparently wasn't a priority while preparing to defend the country against the communists.
