Voyager National Ratings Highest Since March

The national ratings for this week's Voyager episode 'Homestead' achieved the highest figures since 'Human Error' back in March.
'Homestead' achieved a 3.4 national rating combined with a 5 share, according to Justin Capone, writing for the Star Trek Nielsen Ratings Information Database. These are the highest ratings Voyager has achieved since airing 'Human Error' in March. In the important 18-49 age group, the show got a 2.8 rating and a share of 7. It is also Voyager's second-best 18-49 average since 'Body and Soul' in November.
Elsewhere on UPN, WWF Smackdown! managed to score only a 3.7 rating this week. In the 18-49 age group, the show was beaten by Voyager by a half-point difference. This figure equals the lowest ever performance of Smackdown on UPN and is the closest the Star Trek show has recently come to bridging the ratings gap between it and UPN's highest-rated show.
Meanwhile, in the United Kingdom Voyager's seventh season continued to dominate the ratings tables for cable and satellite channel Sky One, according to Omega Horizons. On April 9th, 'Nightingale' achieved the number one position in the ratings for the second time this season with 0.81 million viewers. However, 'Flesh and Blood, Part One' a week later showed a reversal in fortunes; with the show dipping to its lowest position in the ratings so far, ranked 9th in the ratings table with 0.58 million viewers.
In syndication reruns, Voyager is also doing rather well, according to MediaWeek. The show received an average rating of 1.3, which is significantly better than the rerun ratings Deep Space Nine has been getting. Currently Voyager reruns are only available in 60% of the country, meaning that with full coverage it should be able to match the ratings of shows such as 7th Heaven and NYPD Blue.
