New 'Star Trek: Odyssey' Episode Released

Star Trek: Odyssey: Vile Gods became available for download this weekend on the Star Trek: Hidden Frontier website.

As reported by Hidden Frontier, the newest episode of the Odyssey series will show that cracks are starting to appear in the alliance between the Odyssey crew and their new Kelvan allies.

"'Vile Gods' will push the crew's resolve and patience with each other to the breaking point," said executive producer Rob Caves. "New problems are introduced, and the crew will have to find a way to work together in ways they are not used to working. And the Odyssey's fragile peace with the Kelvans will also be strained in the episode. Ro [Nevin] will confront some of his demons in the episode that will culminate in a surprise guest appearance from Ro's past."

According to the Hidden Frontier description, "Whilst dealing with the Archiens, a traitor and the kidnapping of Captain Ro Nevin, Lieutenant Stadi begrudgingly allows Sub-Commander T'Lorra to assume command of the ship."

This leads to a tough decision for T'Lorra. "Tensions run high as Stadi attempts to persuade T'Lorra to execute a plan to rescue Nevin. T'Lorra, now at a crossroads, has to decide to remove Stadi from her post and risk losing control of the ship or allowing the rescue and losing the Kelvans as allies."
