New 'Nemesis' Trailer To Debut Next Week
By CaillanSeptember 12, 2002 - 4:51 PM
The latest trailer for 'Star Trek Nemesis' will receive its premiere on Wednesday September 18 after Enterprise and The Twilight Zone.
Although the exact time of release is yet to be specified, StarTrek.com reported the trailer will be available online "later that night." The new promo is expected to be the same as that shown by Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard) at WorldCon earlier this month (story).
The QuickTime trailer will come in three sizes - small, medium, and full-screen. The full-screen format is usually only available to QuickTime Pro users, but fans without the advanced version will be able to view the trailer in full-screen for a limited time. The promo will be available in Windows Media format a week later.
As previously reported, exclusive brand-new footage from 'Star Trek Nemesis' will air next Wednesday night on UPN. However, according to the official site, the new material will only appear during the series premiere of The Twilight Zone, which airs after Enterprise after 9:00pm Eastern Time.
During The Twilight Zone, UPN will also announce details on how to enter the 'Trek To The Stars Sweepstakes.' Five lucky fans will win a three-day, two-night trip for two to Los Angeles, including tickets to the premiere of 'Star Trek Nemesis.' Four of the winners will be drawn from online entries, which can be submitted on this page from next Wednesday. Only residents of the United States are eligible to enter.
The first trailer for 'Star Trek Nemesis' received its premiere on Paramount's syndicated entertainment magazine Entertainment Tonight in June (story). The promo's debut was followed by the launch of the official Trek X web site at Nemesis.StarTrek.com.
