John Billingsley (Phlox) is set to make a guest appearance in an episode of Stargate SG-1.

Billingsley will play the part of a physicist in the eighth episode of the series' sixth and final season, according to GateWorld. His episode will be titled 'The Other Guys.'

In the episode, SG1 are given the dull task of babysitting a team of physicists off-world. What seems like a routine assignment is spoiled by a Goa'uld plot to capture the team. The attempt is successful, and the team are taken prisoner. It's up to the timid physicists to rescue them.

Billingsley will likely play one of the two scientists who helps to rescue SG1 - the part of Simon Coombs or Jay Felger. The other role is likely to be filled by Patrick McKenna, who starred in Don't Eat the Neighbours.

Another face familiar to Enterprise fans will also appear in a forthcoming Stargate episode.

Dean Stockwell has been lined up to play 'Dr. Keiran' in 'Shadow Play,' episode seven of the new season. Stockwell's character will be the mentor of SG1 new boy Jonas Quinn, who visits Stargate Command on a diplomatic mission. The actor made an appearance as Colonel Grat in the Enterprise episode 'Detained'.

Stargate SG1 is a science fiction series based upon the 1994 movie 'Stargate.' It follows the adventures of a top secret Air Force team as they travel through the Stargate to other planets. The show is due to begin its sixth and final season in June on the SciFi channel.

More information about the appearances of Billingsley and Stockwell on the show, as well as the episodes they will appear in can be found here at GateWorld.
