Sad Farewell To STARTREK.COM Production Team

In a surprising move, the production team that brings fans STARTREK.COM has been eliminated.

As reported at STARTREK.COM late this evening, the production team of STARTREK.COM has been laid off.

CBS Interactive organization is evidently being restructured and the immediate effect is the removal of the production team. The fate of the thirteen-year-old site is unknown.

The team thanked the fans for their loyalty over the years and suggested that comments be sent to the editor at the site, with the hope that "someone at CBS will read them.
