Shatner To Host New Syndicated SF/Horror Series

Variety reported today that William Shatner (James T. Kirk) has been signed by Full Moon Universe to host a new syndicated TV series, initially intended to comprise of 12 installments.
The series will be produced by Full Moon Universe, a direct-to-video film that has 160 horror and sci-fi films in its library, including films such as 'Puppetmaster' and 'Subspecies'. In the new television series, which will be called 'William Shatner's Full Moon Frightshow', one of Full Moon's films will be featured in each installment.
The series will be pitched to TV stations later this month, at the National Association of Television Program Executives meeting in Las Vegas.
This isn't the first project Shatner will work on with Full Moon. He recently finished filming the sci-fi thriller 'Groom Lake', which he wrote, directed and starred in. That project will be shopped to cable networks soon, according to Variety.
