Official 'Star Trek XI' Site Goes Live

Still under construction, Paramount's official Star Trek XI site has been unveiled.

As reported at The Trek Movie Report, the official promotional site for Star Trek XI went live today. It can be accessed here. The front page shows the official logo of Star Trek XI.

The site is not fully active yet, but forums will soon be available for use. It is also expected that the Star Trek XI teaser will be offered on the site. Thus far, only the capability to register for updates to the site is functional.

In other Star Trek XI news, another actor has been named who has an unknown part in the film. Jeffrey Hauser completed filming his part in November, which consisted of several lines. Hauser has worked before on shows such as the soap opera Days of Our Lives prior to his being cast in Star Trek XI.
