Shatner Jedi

William Shatner is in a new television advertisement for World of Warcraft, the online multiplayer game.

As reported in the Telegraph, William Shatner has turned his acting talents towards advertising.

Appearing with arms folded, and garbed in a Jedi robe, the former Captain Kirk informs his audience that he is "a conduit for the ancient forces of nature" as a Shaman warrior in World of Warcraft.

Joining Shatner in promoting the popular online game is the former Mr. T from the popular A-Team, who promotes a new warrior class in World of Warcraft, a Night Elf Mohawk, which comes complete with his trademark hairstyle.

World of Warcraft, launched online in 2004, is the most popular online multiplayer game, with over nine million subscribers. Players control characters (which include trolls, dwarves, humans, undead and others,) and battle other players or complete quests to earn rewards and new skills.
