The official site has just released the synopsis for a new Voyager episode, in a stroke confirming the re-appearance of Q before the show ends. Entitled 'Q2', the episode has a production number of 265 and directed by veteran Trek actor/director LeVar Burton (TNG's Geordie LaForge), and will see not only the appearance of John de Lancie as Q, but that of his real-life son, John Keegan de Lancie, as Q junior or Q2. Keegan, as he is credited, is John's oldest child, believed to be around 15 or 16 years of age, will actually be known to a number of Trek fans, having performed alongside his father at several conventions. Keegan's only other known role is in the 1998 movie, 'The Velocity of Gary' as a choir boy. We've provided the synopsis and full credits listing below, while you can check out the original versions by following the links above.

SYNOPSIS:

It's not easy being a parent, even for a Q. Because Captain Janeway and the crew of the U.S.S. Voyager were so instrumental in Q's quest to have a child, he decides to make "Aunt Kathy" teach his son some responsible virtues. Although appearing to be fully grown, the younger Q proves harder to handle than his irascible father, and with his omnipotent powers, disciplining the youngster proves not only impossible, but exceptionally dangerous as well.
