Voyager Wins Two Hair Styling Awards

According to an official press release from the organisers of the First Annual Hollywood Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist Guild Awards, 'Star Trek: Voyager' won two hairstyling awards during the official ceremony held yesterday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

'Voyager' was able to take home both the Best Character Hair Styling award (for 'Bride of Chaotica') and the Best Innovative Hair Styling award (for 'Dragon's Teeth'). The recipients of the award were Josee Norman, Charlotte Parker and Gloria Montemeyor, hair designers/stylists working on Voyager. In addition, at the event a Lifetime Achievement award was presented to Monty Westmore, who also worked on 'Star Trek: First Contact'.
