Star Trek: Voyager actors Roxann Dawson (B'Elanna Torres) and Robert Picardo (The Doctor) have updated their web sites with information about their upcoming projects.
Dawson, writing to apologize for cancelling her appearance at the Creation convention in Las Vegas, explained at RoxannDawson.net that she would be directing an episode of "Crossing Jordan" which is scheduled to air on September 10th. She also stated that she will be directing another episode of Star Trek: Enterprise, to be filmed for the fourth season this fall, and that she has an independent feature film in the works entitled Dead Stop.
Dawson said that she enjoyed her acting work on Without a Trace and Lyon's Den. She appears as well in the indie film Jesus The Driver, which is showing at special screenings and festivals. A complete listing is available at the film's official web site.
As previously reported, Picardo will be creating a role in a new musical, Gemini, opening in Philadelphia this October. The actor appeared in Gemini on Broadway in 1977, when it was a play, starring Picardo as Francis Geminiani Jr., with Danny Aiello playing Francis Geminiani Sr.
In the new musical, Picardo will play Aiello's role, Francis Sr., at the Prince Music Theater in Philadelphia. Gemini will begin previews on October 9th, open officially on October 16th, and run through October 31st. More information may be found at the Prince Music Theater web site and at Picardo's web site.
