UPN Releases 'Awakening' Promo

UPN has premiered the trailer for Star Trek: Enterprise's "Awakening", which airs next Wednesday night.

During this episode, written by Andre Bormanis, Archer and T'Pol track down the Syrrannites and find T'Pau along with T'Pol's mother T'Les, but the High Command is on the verge of destroying the rebels. Meanwhile Soval warns Tucker that the High Command plans to attack the Andorians and trigger an interplanetary war. Roxann Dawson (B'Elanna Torres) returns to direct this installment.

UPN FRIDAY: BENEATH THE VULCAN DESERT LIES A TREASURE NOT OF GOLD, BUT OF MIND.

[Archer looks down a corridor in a cave.]

[Carrying a torch, Archer leads T'Pol and T'Pau through a cave.]

[Archer reaches out to touch a portal with a geometric design.]

[The circular portal opens and Archer looks inside.]

[A hand brushes off the inscription beneath a bust of Surak.]

[Archer steps outside the dark cave corridor into bright light.]

Vulcan Man: "Open your heart and the way will become clear."

[T'Pau places fingers on Archer's face in the mind meld position.]

[Archer closes his eyes.]

[The Vulcan man circles around him.]

SOME HAVE DIED TO SEEK IT.

[T'Pol looks up in alarm.]

[Carrying a torch, Archer and T'Pol flee with others down a corridor.]

[Explosions rock the corridor.]

[T'Pol clutches at rocks to try to remain upright.]

[A Vulcan man stands in an archway lit from behind.]

Vulcan Man: "Vulcan is tearing itself apart."

[The man speaks to Archer in the bright chamber.]

SOME HAVE KILLED TO HIDE IT.

[Enterprise flies beneath the planet, firing, and is hit by a green energy beam.]

[An explosion rocks Enterprise's bridge.]

V'Las: "Drive Enterprise from orbit."

[A ship pursues Enterprise and the smaller vessels firing on the Starfleet vessel.]

Tucker: "He's going to start an interstellar war!"

AND IT'S BURIED IN THE LAST PLACE A VULCAN WOULD LOOK.

[T'Pau puts her hands around a seated Archer's head.]

[T'Pol stands beside T'Les, who is studying her.]

[T'Pau moves her fingers on Archer's forehead.]

[Text: 'LAST']

[T'Pol stares straight ahead.]

[Text: 'PLACE']

[Archer's eyes widen.]

[Text: 'VULCAN']

[Archer flinches.]

[Text: 'WOULD LOOK']

[A group of Vulcans watch alongside T'Pol and T'Les.]

[Archer cries out and breaks away from T'Pau's hands.]

A THREE-PART STAR TREK EVENT.

[Archer falls to the ground.]

[T'Pau, seemingly stunned, watches him fall.]

[Enterprise flies through space.]

[Text: 'STAR TREK ENTERPRISE']

[A shuttlepod flies away from Enterprise toward Vulcan.]
