Jonathan Frakes Talks Trek X

Over at Cinescape, they've posted a very brief news article on the next Star Trek film, containing two short statements from Jonathan Frakes (William T. Riker).
Talking about John Logan's script for the film, Frakes said that "we've allegedly got a script on the way that everyone's thrilled with."
Talking about plans to alter the production process of Trek X, Frakes said, "We're delivering final effects shots while we're filming, which is unheard of -- instead of during post-production." Quite what the reason for this new production process is not clear - the reason why visual effects are added in during post-production is because then they can be merged with footage of the actual actors, so delivering all final effects for the film before actual filming is complete seems almost impossible.
The original report, brief as it is, can be found at Cinescape.
