Hello World!
It's been a truly dismal week here in Brisbane - rain, rain, and more rain.
Of course, yesterday, despite the fact that I woke up to the sound of rain, saw the raindrops through the window, and heard other family members talking about how awful the rain was, I forgot to take my umbrella with me to uni.
Consequently, I spent the day wading through a forest of other people's umbrellas which were trying to poke my eyes out, while all the drips which landed on their umbrellas ran on to me. And then, when I was walking home, in the dark, I might add, it decided to pour down, and I was totally saturated.
Note to self: take umbrella or suffer the consequences.
