Hello World!
Finally finished my Christmas shopping today after what must be five trips to the shops in the past couple of weeks. Presents are wrapped and under the tree - everyone can spot the ones from me a mile off since I'm quite possibly the worst wrapper in the world. Give me a pair of scissors, sticky-tape and paper and I'll somehow manage to make a mess of everything.
Christmas always seems to come upon us so suddenly - my brother's birthday was only last week, mine the week before that, and my sister's at the end of November. Consequently, Christmas is this far-off event that no one really realises is coming until the week before. Of course, it didn't help our present buying schedule when my brother and I spent an hour or so watching 'The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring' on a big-screen in the shopping centre today.
As this will be the last Hello World! before Christmas Day, I'd like to wish all our visitors a Merry Christmas!
