Official 'Andromeda' Episode List
By ChristianMay 23, 2000 - 9:59 PM
Back in February, 'Andromeda' executive producer Robert Hewitt Wolfe posted a list of the series' first nine episode's titles and writers to Usenet. Following the recent Space.com article on Andromeda's start of filming, I contacted Mr. Wolfe to ask him if the episode list had undergone any changes since then. As a result, below you will find the list of currently known 'Andromeda' episodes, plus comments by Wolfe on most of them:
- 'Under The Night' by Robert Hewitt Wolfe
'An Affirming Flame' by Robert Hewitt Wolfe"These will still be airing one and two, though they're shooting three and four." The reason for this shooting order is that it allows the producers to get any bugs out before filming the premiere episode, which of course is more important than usual.
- 'D Minus Zero' by Ashley Miller & Zack Stentz
'To Loose The Fateful Lightning' by Matt Kiene & Joe ReinkemeyerThese are the first and second episodes being shot, and will "most likely air as the third and fourth episodes."
- 'Double Helix' by Matt Kiene & Joe Reinkemeyer
'A Rose In The Ashes' by Ethlie Ann Vare
'Angel Dark, Demon Bright' by Robert Hewitt Wolfe"These three episodes are still very much in the works and will all likely be airing in November sweeps."
- 'We The People' - To Be Announced
Back in February, the writer for this episode hadn't yet been decided upon, but according to Wolfe "we've assigned this one out now, but we're still negotiating with the writer, so we can't really comment on who's writing it yet."
- 'The Pearls That Were His Eyes' by Ethlie Ann Vare
This was originally the third episode on the episode list, but it "has been moved back in order to make it available for a potentially really cool guest star to be named later."
- 'The Ties that Blind' by Ethlie Ann Vare
'Pax Magellanic' by Matt Kiene & Joe Reinkemeyer
'Banks of the Lethe' by Ashley Miller & Zack Stentz
'Harper 2.0' by John Whelpley - 'All Great Neptune's Ocean' by Walter Jon Williams
Williams is a long-time science fiction and fantasy author, who has been nominated for both a Hugo and a Nebula award for 'City On Fire', his 1997 novel. His official web site can be found here.
