Image Shows Final 'Endgame' Showdown

Though the last ever episode of Star Trek: Voyager will not be shown on television until tonight, a new image has been released that gives us an indication of what may be in the final scenes of the episode.

The photograph will appear in the upcoming 'Farewell Voyager' special of the British TV Zone Magazine, published by Visual Imaginations Publications, and shows the aged Admiral Janeway with Borg facial implants. Previous photographs had shown a confrontation between Admiral Janeway and the Borg Queen, and the episode promo even showed the Borg Queen plunging her assimilation tubules into the admiral.

Information already available about the finale (story) suggests that this photograph comes near the end of the episode, with the present day Voyager engaged in a fearsome battle with the Borg. Admiral Janeway confronts the Queen, and it is largely thanks to her sacrifice that Voyager is able to escape.
