Dawson Directing Enterprise's 'Vox Solis'

Roxann Dawson (B'Elanna Torres) has been busy behind the camera recently - she has directed a new episode of Enterprise and an episode of Any Day Now that she directed is set to air early next month.

According to a post at her official site, Dawson is currently hard at work on 'Vox Solis' the second episode of Enterprise she has directed. The episode's title is Latin and translates as 'Voice of the Sun.' It will likely end towards the end of the show's first season.

Dawson previously directed the Enterprise episode, 'The Andorian Incident'. She also helmed two episodes of Voyager: 'Riddles' and 'Workforce, Part Two.'

Her work as a director is not just limited to the Star Trek Universe - she directed an episode of Any Day Now in January for the Lifetime cable network. Her episode will air on the channel on March 3rd.

Any Day Now explores the lives of two women - one white, one black - who became friends in the Alabama at the height of the civil rights movement. The show highlights race relations issues, and tackles problems concerning race and relationships in both the past and present. It is currently in its third year on air.

Last month Dawson launched the third in her 'Tenebrea Trilogy' of science fiction novels, written with Daniel Graham. Collector's editions of all three books are available by following this link.
