Jeri Ryan Signs On For 'Elite Force' Expansion

Jeri Ryan has signed on to provide the voice of Seven of Nine for both the upcoming 'Voyager: Elite Force Expansion' and a free downloadable speech pack for owners of the original game.
When 'Elite Force' was originally released last year, the game featured the voices of the entire Voyager main cast, with the exception of Ryan, who was "not available." In the game, her character's voice was provided instead by actress Joan Buddenhagen.
According to a new press release from game company Activision, Ryan will be voicing Seven of Nine for both the missions originally included in the game, as well as several new missions created specifically for the expansion. The dialogue for the original game will be made available for free via the official Elite Force site. New dialogue from the rest of the cast will also be included in the expansion pack, based on material left over from the original 'Elite Force' recording sessions.
Other features planned for the Expansion Pack include a Virtual Voyager tour mode, giving fans the chance to explore 10 decks of the ship, including the bridge, astrometric, the shuttlebay and the holodeck. On the holodeck, players will be able to interact with several new characters, such as Captain Proton and Dr. Chaotica. Finally, the expansion pack will offer 21 new multiplayer maps and five new multiplayer game modes, with title such as 'Assimilation,' 'Disintegration' and 'Elimination.'
The Elite Force Expansion Pack will be released on the 9th of May for a price of $19.95. However, the expansion pack is already available for pre-order on Amazon, while also still available is the original game. Meanwhile, to read the original press release, please follow this link to Evil Avatar.
