Blalock Takes on 'Starship Troopers: Marauder'

Jolene Blalock (T'Pol) will play pilot Lola Beck in another science fiction franchise - the third film in the Starship Troopers series.
StarshipTroopers3.net has an exclusive report on the cast of Starship Troopers: Marauder, filming in South Africa. Casper Van Dien returns as John Rico, while Golden Globe winner Amanda Donohoe appears as Admiral Enolo Phid.
The first Starship Troopers, directed by Paul Verhoeven, was budgeted at over $100 million and earned only slightly more than that worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo. The sequel, Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation, had only a $7 million budget, according to the Internet Movie Database, and has been successful in both foreign release and domestic DVD sales and rentals.
Cinematical reported that Ed Nuemeier is directing the third installment.
Starship Troopers: Marauder reportedly has a $20 million budget will likely follow its immediate predecessor directly to DVD.
