  • On Tuesday, Voyager's new cop show 'The Beat' took scored a fairly good 3.2 overnight rating with a share of 5. By comparison, recent Voyager episodes have taken in ratings from about 4 to 4.5. These ratings place The Beat at about average ratings level for UPN, though that could of course still improve as the series progresses. • David Henderson at Psi Phi has put up information about two short Trek stories appearing in upcoming editions of Amazing Stories. The two stories are TNG's Bedside Manners by Greg Cox, appearing in Issue 601, and Voyager's Harry and the Pirtaes by Josepha Sherman and Susan Schwartz, appearing in Issue 603.

  • The Sev Wide Web, home of the Sev Trek cartoon parody, has been enhanced with The Vault, featuring the very first artwork ever created by Sev's John Cook. Also available at the site is a (now finally functional) poll about the upcoming Sev cartoon stickers. In related news, the US Entertainment Weekly magazine will be featuring an article about Sev Trek next week, including the first screenshots of the Sev Trek film.
