Bakula To Appear Tonight In 'New Adventures of Old Christine'

Scott Bakula (Captain Archer) will appear in tonight's episode of the CBS fall series The New Adventures of Old Christine.

TV Guide notes that Bakula will appear on the new series Monday at 9:30 p.m., playing a "handsome stranger" with whom Christine agrees to go on a date. The role will recur next week, Monday, October 2nd, as well.

The comedy The New Adventures of Old Christine stars Seinfeld's Julia Louis-Dreyfus as a divorced working mother who is trying to balance motherhood and her business while coming to terms with the discovery that her ex-husband has a much younger new girlfriend who is also named Christine.

When she meets Bakula's character outside the new Christine's apartment, the old Christine "agrees to a dinner date in the spirit of her new 'say yes to life' outlook," states TV Guide.
