Picardo To Appear In 'Mame'

Robert Picardo (The Doctor) will appear in the musical Mame in a single performance at The Hollywood Bowl, playing villain Dwight Babcock.

An announcement at the actor's official web site summarizes the information at The Hollywood Bowl site, which includes Mame as a part of its Sunset Performances series.

The performance will take place one night only, Sunday, August 1st. Music will be provided by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, conducted by John Mauceri.

The show will star Broadway and Knots Landing veteran Michele Lee as the title character, with Smallville's Jonathan Kent, John Schneider, as Beauregard Jackson Picket Burnside.

Gordon Hunt will direct the musical.
