Jason Blalock at ScoreLand has posted a review of GNP Crescendo's new Trek music compilation, 'The Best of Star Trek, Vol 2'. Here's how he starts his review:
This is possibly the best overall Trek TV compilation released. With the exception of a couple bonus tracks that really shouldn't be on here, this is a really great album for Trek fans. Although it may not have the most representative scores in all cases, it certainly makes for an enjoyable listen.
The full review has comments on all the tracks included on the disc, which means the music from all four series is talked about.
Another review of the disc is up at Soundtrack Review Central, where it is awarded 4 out of 5 stars:
The last Star Trek album of this nature was way back during the 30th Anniversary of the intrepid television show. It is nice to finally see another volume that celebrates all four incarnations of the Trek universe. Especially since this one tops the first volume in almost every way.
