Hello World!
This is almost beginning to look like a story with the same epic proportions as my Laptop Saga and the Cell Phone Chronicles. Now I am actually connected to the internet, but only for short periods of time - the net connection is working for ten minutes, then not at all for an hour, then again for fifteen minutes, and so on. During one of those short periods I quickly opened all my news source sites in about 40 windows or so, after which I worked through them off-line, so expect to see all news items show up at the site in just a few minutes time - assuming I'm not cut off again. It does take me back to the earliest TrekToday days, though, when I also used to first collect all the news and only then post it. I'd bore you with all my great memories from those days, but unfortunately by the time I'm done my brief window of opportunity for posting all this would be gone again, so I'll have to spare you that.

Corrections
Yesterday, we reported that Fandom's live chat with Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher) would be taking place on Monday the 29th of August. As Gustavo Leao was kind enough to point out, the 29th is of course a Tuesday, and not a Monday. Details on the chat can still be found by going here.
Poll Results
Below are the results of the most recent TrekToday poll:

I have to say these aren't the results I would have expected. Of course, as mentioned before I'm a big 'Star Trek: The Motion Picture' fan, mainly because of the gorgeous Enterprise shots, so I suppose I'm biased, but still - for me the Constitution-class vessels have a thousand times more soul than the new Sovereign ships.
The new poll asks you something a bit related to TrekToday itself - do you like to read spoilers?
