Hello World!
Has anyone out there actually managed to dodge 200 lightning bolts in a row on Final Fantasy X?
My highest total so far is 106. Why oh why did they make this thing so difficult?
I also finished the final paperback 'Aya' book I have today - 'The Plains of Passage.' All in all, I haven't found it a bad series. On the other hand, it hasn't rocked my world either. The last lot of books I read that did knock me off my feet were the 'Deed of Paksenarrion' series.
I'm in no hurry to go out and buy the latest Earth's Children book in hardback form - I'll wait for the paperback edition. I had a break half way through the final book, and re-read Mary Gentle's 'Ash' series. Now that's a series of books with a gorgious blend of historical fact, science fiction and fantasy that I did enjoy.
Next on my list is Mary Gentle's Orthe series, which I'll admit I picked up on the basis of 'Ash.' I hope I enjoy it as much.
