Fan Film News

The Trek BBS has opened a Fan Films discussion forum for posts about Hidden Frontier, New Voyages, Exeter and other amateur Star Trek productions available on the web and elsewhere.

Some topics of interest concerning fan films:

• Trek Nation director Rod Roddenberry is teaming up with Star Trek: New Voyages to host a Star Trek: Enterprise finale viewing party from 6 to 10 p.m. on May 13th, the night UPN will air "These Are the Voyages..." The event will take place at the Embassy Suites LAX North. A $15.00 fee includes food, beverages, a goody bag, and a $15.00 Roddenberry.com store credit.

• Star Trek: New Voyages is also featured in Star Trek Monthly, with scans at the New Voyages message board.

• Joel's Web Site has behind-the-scenes interviews with Starship Exeter crew to promote the upcoming episode "The Tressaurian Intersection." Previous episodes are here.

• A new fan project, Tales of the Seventh Fleet by the USS Justice, has released the episode "Return To Doomsday" and a promo for upcoming episode "Upgrade."
