If you've ever wanted to ask Brannon Braga anything from how long it takes to write an episode of Star Trek to how he came up with the story for 'Frame Of Mind,' now's your chance!
Brannon Braga.com will be hosting a question and answer opportunity with the writer. Braga, former Voyager Executive Producer and co-creator of Enterprise, has graciously agreed to answer questions on his work on Star Trek, as well as on the feature film 'Mission Impossible II.'
There are some restrictions on the questions, however. Firstly, Braga will be unable to answer questions on Enterprise, as the series is still in the early stages of production. Secondly, the site asks you not to send anything that might duplicate previous questions from October 2000.
Details on how to submit your questions can be found here, and must include your name, whether you would like your name to be published with your question, and where you live. The questions and their answers will be published at the site as soon as they are received.
Brannon Braga.com first opened in April last year, and is run by fan Catherine Monson. The site contains a large collection of photos of Braga, including convention shots, and with Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine) and Kate Mulgrew (Captain Janeway). Also, the site features transcripts of articles, online chats and videos involving Braga and Star Trek.
In October 2000, the site posted a digitised version of 'System Error,' a film made by Braga in 1990 when he was a student at the University of California, Santa Cruz (story). The film, written, directed and edited by, and starring Braga, tells the story of a man who eats himself. At the time, the site said that "Ten years after it was filmed, this story about a man who eats himself continues to thrill viewers."
Braga's career began in 1990 when he was awarded the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Writing Internship and ended up in the offices of The Next Generation. He continued to work for TNG for the rest of its run, penning the Hugo award-winning series finale, 'All Good Things' with Ronald D. Moore. After joining Voyager, Braga quickly worked his way up the ranks to become Executive Producer. Together with Rick Berman, Braga has created the next Star Trek series, Enterprise, scheduled to air this Fall on UPN.
Full details of the question and answer opportunity can be found here at Brannon Braga.com.
