Hello World!

At times I get the feeling sporting events have a bit too strong an influence on me. This feeling is mostly enhanced by what I'm feeling right now in my legs, or more specifically in what's left of my muscles. As in several other years, the upcoming Tour de France inspired me to make a small cycling trip, and also as in several other years, I vastly overestimated my energy reserves when deciding when to turn around. Combined with the fact that on the way back I actually had the wind against me, when I got home falling on the couch and staying there for a couple of hours was really the only thing I could possibly do. I guess Lance Armstrong doesn't yet have much to fear from me.
