Hello World!
One thing I'm fairly happy I'm not is manufacturer of tandems. I'm sure I'd get broke from the enourmous number of lawsuits over divorces / family feuds / broken friendships my products had caused. I actually rode one for the first time today, and it's definitely not as easy as it looks - if you're in the front, you have to use much more strength to steer for two persons, while when you're on the back, you have absolutely no control over where you're going, and so end up swinging to the sides a lot to try to compensate, thereby disrupting the person in front of you again. Add to that the really smart decision to make your first ever tandem ride on a trail you'd have problems going over even on a regular mountain bike, and it's a guaranteed recipe for disaster.

Happy Birthday!
Unfortunately I missed this on Friday, but it was actually also the 59th birthday of David Warner, who starred in 'Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country' and in the 'Klingon Academy' game as Chancellor Gorkon. It would also have been the 93rd birthday of famed lawyer Melvin Belli, who appeared in the Original Series' 'And The Children Shall Lead' as the Gorgan, had he not sadly passed away four years ago.
