Hello World!
EFTPOS is a very bad thing. Even when you don't have more than a few 10 cent pieces rattling around in your wallet, you can still be induced to make spur of the moment purchases.
I didn't plan to buy anything, honestly. I knew there was 25% off Penguin Classics at the Uni bookshop, but I didn't know how tempting it would be until I walked in and smelt that "book" smell. And that was that.
Of course, 25% off is a rather good deal, I told myself as I picked up some Plutarch. Then some Appian. And a bit of Dio thrown in for good measure.
It *was* a good offer. Really.

The official site (then known as the Continuum) posted its preview of the DS9 finale, 'What You Leave Behind.' The preview included a full synopsis and two video files. - UK Trek Ratings
There was good news for the ratings in the UK, with TNG placing ninth for the week with 2.79 million viewers. On Sky One, Voyager remained strong, placing second behind Friends. - Weekend On The Promenade Report
Melissa of Sid City attended this convention, and returned full of praise for Andrew Robinson (Garak). "I also got to meet Andy and tell him how impressed I was with his Garak's Diaries," she wrote. "He read a bit to us on Saturday night and claimed it was a first draft. Sheesh, if my first drafts were that good, I'd be thrilled!"
