Bakula As Chuck’s Father
1 min readScott Bakula fans tuned in to NBC last Monday to see the first of several episodes of Chuck in which Bakula appears as the estranged father of the title character played by Zachary Levi.
Chuck’s father Steve Bartowski had not been seen since he left Chuck and his older sister Ellie ten years earlier. Found by CIA officer Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski,) Steve is living in a trailer out in the boondocks, a disheveled and paranoid man. Steve (Bakula) reluctantly returns home to see his daughter Ellie, whose wedding approaches. By the end of the episode, after helping his son, a nerdy spy, Steve is kidnapped and will need to be rescued by his son and CIA officer Sarah Walker.
The next episode of Chuck will air Monday night at 8 P.M. on NBC.
