Beltran In Solitude

Robert Beltran will star in Solitude, the season opener for the Los Angeles Theater Center.

As reported by Theater Mania, Beltran, best known to Star Trek fans for his role as Chakotay on Star Trek: Voyager, will portray a successful man who returns home to his old neighborhood for his mother Carmen’s funeral.
Solitude is the story of Gabriel’s return to the impoverished neighborhood that he fled years before and where he abandoned his poor mother, his lover Ramona and his best friend Johnny.

The successful and wealthy Gabriel and wife Sonia, Ramona and her grown son Angel, Johnny and two mysterious characters are all brought together to mourn the death of Carmen.

Solitude will run from September 9th through October 14th.
