Saldana Wants To Kick Butt
1 min readAlthough she enjoyed working on Star Trek XI, Zoe Saldana wants more action in the next Star Trek film.
If Saldana has her way, “the boys” won’t be the ones getting all of the action in the sequel to Star Trek XI. “I had so much fun,” she said of the J.J. Abrams reboot. “But the boys got all the action!”
According to Saldana, that should change in the next movie. “J.J. promised me that in the sequel she will have at least one little fight scene,” she said. “I’m like, ‘Just let me kick a guy in the groin or something.'”
Although Star Trek XI is finished and the sequel hasn’t begun filming yet, Saldana is keeping in touch with her co-stars via email. “If you guys could really see, because we all have each other on a massive email group, like all the actors and one of the producers and J.J. And just to read the back and forth of Karl Urban, Simon Pegg and Chris Pine, John Cho, I mean, I’ve been having tons of fun!”
