Art Directors Guild Nominations

Another Star Trek XI-related person received a nomination for his work on the film.

Scott Chambliss was nominated for a 2009 Art Directors Guild awards for his work on Star Trek XI.

010810ScottChamblissThe Art Directors Guild Awards are given out for three categories of films; contemporary, period and fantasy films. Star Trek XI is classified in the fantasy film category.

The other contenders for the award in the fantasy film category are:

  • Rick Carter, Robert Stromberg (Avatar)
  • Philip Ivey (District 9)
  • Stuart Craig (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince)
  • K.K. Barrett (Where the Wild things Are)

Winners will be announced at a ceremony at the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel on February 13.
