Pegg In Talks For Mission: Impossible IV

1 min read

If all goes well, Simon Pegg will reprise his character Benji Dunn, last seen in Mission: Impossible III.

Pegg is in talks for the Mission: Impossible sequel, which will be directed by Brad Bird and star Tom Cruise as agent Ethan Hunt.

J.J. Abrams will be producing the movie, which may start production in September, along with Cruise and Paula Wagner. Writers Andre Nemec and Josh Appelbaum have written the screenplay for Mission: Impossible IV, based on a story from Abrams and Cruise.

Pegg will be seen this weekend at Comic-Con, held in San Diego, where he will be promoting his latest movie, Paul.

Mission: Impossible IV will be released December 16, 2011.
