Battered Pine

1 min read

The physical demands of the theater proved to be rather painful for Chris Pine, who is trying to recover from his work on the Lieutenant of Inishmore.

Pine played Padraic, a hard-boiled terrorist, in the play which ran from July 11th through August 8th, but the role took a toll on his body.

“My body’s all sorts of f–ked up,” said Pine. “I tore my groin. I pulled my neck and glute, tweaked my rhomboid, sprained my f–king sacrum.”

Pine will appear next with Denzel Washington in Unstoppable, which releases on November 12.
