Stewart And Ryder Nominated for SAG Awards
1 min readThe list of nominees for the Seventeenth Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards has been announced, and amongst the nominees are Patrick Stewart and Winona Ryder.
Stewart was nominated for one SAG award, and Ryder was nominated for two SAG awards.
Stewart was nominated for “Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries” for his performance in Macbeth, where he took on the title role in a 20th-century version of the Shakespeare play.
Others up for that award include: John Goodman and Al Pacino for You Don’t Know Jack, Dennis Quaid for The Special Relationship and Édgar Ramírez for Carlos.
Ryder (Amanda in Star Trek XI) was nominated twice; once for “Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture” for Black Swan, and once for “Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries” for her work in When Love is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Series.
This year’s awards ceremony will be broadcast live from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center and will air on both TNT and TBS on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at 8 PM.
