It’s time for the teasing of the fans to begin, in the long run up to the release of Star Trek XII, due out next summer.
Rumor had it that the villain for Star Trek XII might be someone from the first season of the original series. What did Orci have to say about that? “I don’t think so,” he said, in a video which can be seen here. “We have talked about the villain may be a person, or it may be a concept. We don’t know yet – or nobody knows yet, but us, I should say.”
Orci was asked if the villain was a “creation that has existed in the mythos before.”
“No comment,” he said with a smile.
