1 min readA trailer for The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, in which Simon Pegg plays Detective Thompson, is now online.
In The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, Tintin and his friends set off to find a treasure left behind by Tintin’s ancestor Sir Francis Haddock. Pegg and Nick Frost will play bumbling detectives Thompson and Thomson.
Pegg chose the Steven Spielberg movie over Quentin Tarantino‘s Inglourious Basterds, where he would have played Lt. Archie Hicox had he elected to take place in that movie instead of The Adventures of Tintin. “It was a horrible decision to make,” he said. “I remember sitting on my own in a hotel room for an hour, having to decide which one to do. It was agony.”
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn will be released in December. The trailer can be seen here.
