Hemsworth To Star In Thriller
1 min readChris Hemsworth, Star Trek XI‘s George Kirk, will be starring in an original thriller to be produced by Tripp Vinson, Beau Flynn and Will Ward.
Hemsworth will be starring in Shadow Runner, which has just been picked up by Sony.
“We think the story is a terrific action thriller for Chris Hemsworth and we know this project is in great hands with Tripp, Beau and Will as they develop the film,” said Columbia Pictures production president Hannah Minghella.
As with many projects, details regarding Shadow Runner are being kept secret, but the story, based on an original idea from writer Hossein Amini, is said to involve elite commandos, and was inspired by an incident in which an Israeli assassination team targeted a Hamas leader whom the Israelis believed had murdered several soldiers and helped stockpile Iranian-made missiles.
