Charles Napier, best-known to Star Trek fans for his roles in the original series and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, died yesterday at the age of seventy-five.

The versatile actor, also seen in The Blues Brothers, Silence of the Lambs, Rambo: First Blood Part II and television shows such as Mission: Impossible, Kojak and The Rockford Files, collapsed in his house yesterday and died after being taken to the hospital.

Napier played the hippie Adam in The Way to Eden, and General Rex Denning in Deep Space Nine: Little Green Man.

Divorced twice, Napier is survived by sons Whit and Hunter, and daughter Meghan.
