Nichols And President Obama

1 min read

Last week, Nichelle Nichols was able to meet President Barack Obama, and she has shared a picture taken with the President with her Star Trek fans.

“I was honored to get a chance to meet with Pres[ident] Barack Obama today in the White House,” she said via Twitter. “He was as charming and handsome as I had expected.”

Nichols had heard that Obama had once had a crush on her, and she asked Obama about it. “Months ago Pres[ident] Obama was quoted as saying that he’d had a crush on me when he was younger,” said Nichols. “I asked about that and & proudly confirmed it!”

Obama also said something to Nichols guaranteed to bring a smile to Star Trek fans. “President Obama also confirmed for me that he was definitely a Trekker,” said Nichols. “How wonderful is that!”

  1. I can’t govern a country worth a s–t, but I certainly am charming and handsome.

    BRB, time for golf.

  2. Luckily the Federation of Planets is a social utopia – nary a Republican in sight!

  3. And which of the clown-car full of Republican candidates would do a better job? Right!

  4. Can we please leave off the political nattering? None of this will matter anyway once history realizes it’s twenty years off, the timeline heals itself, and Khan Noonian Singh becomes absolute dictator over one third of the planet. 😀

  5. People can’t resist the political nattering, lol. I equally hate both parties though, so I get to laugh at ALL of the jokes!
