Dorn In Liberator

1 min read

Michael Dorn can be seen in a twenty-minute superhero TV pilot to be screened in Los Angeles this weekend.

The superhero project, Liberator, is the brainchild of Lou Ferrigno, who plays the title role of Al Migliocetti (The Liberator).

In Liberator, former hero Ed Migliocetti (Ferrigno) is drafted into the Enhanced Abilities Initiative, but finds that being a good soldier merely means doing dirty work for the government. A black op gone wrong puts Migliocetti in jail and turns the former hero into a pariah zero.

Not willing to take the fall alone, Migliocetti writes a tell-all that angers his former chief, General Augustus Pollard (Dorn). Pollard and CIA spook Marla Criswell (Peta Wilson) decide to take out Migliocetti.

But the Liberator isn’t going down without a fight!

Liberator will screen on Saturday, September 15 at 7 PM at the Downtown Independent Theater, right before With Great Power: The Stan Lee Story. Afterwards, there will be a panel discussion featuring Ferrigno and the directors and producers from both movies.

On Sunday, September 16 at 5 PM, Liberator will close out Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo.
