Trek Actors On Entertainment Tonight
1 min readJ.J. Abrams and five of the Star Trek into Darkness actors appeared recently in a short segment on Entertainment Tonight to promote the movie.
The actors spoke of the friendships developed over the time making both Star Trek and Star Trek into Darkness.
Abrams, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban and Benedict Cumberbatch appeared on the show.
“[Abrams] brought people’s lives together,” said Quinto. “The penny dropped for me on the second movie when I realized that these are people who will be in my life forever, whether or not we make any other Star Trek films.”
The cast kept in touch in-between both movies, including via email. “We stayed in touch and had this wonderful round-robin of emails,” said Pegg. Some of those images featured “images of Klingon sex.”
“None of us take this for granted,” said Quinto, who added that Pine reminded them to “Always remember this time when people actually care.”
ANS THE award for longest run-on sentence goes to Benedict Cumberbatch.
