Star Trek 23 To Debut Tomorrow

The final issue in a post-Star Trek into Darkness comic book trilogy will arrive tomorrow, but fans can see a preview now.

Star Trek #23 will find the Enterprise crew and captain dealing with a “grave new threat” which has arisen in the wake of the events of Star Trek into Darkness.

Written by Mike Johnson and overseen by Roberto Orci, Star Trek #23 features art by Erfan Fajar and a cover by Tim Bradstreet.

The issue will run thirty-two pages in length and will cost $3.99.

  2. It reminds me of the Sentinel poster they released for Days of Future Past at Comic-Con last week… and not in a good way… but NOW with zombie Vulcans!

  3. This was a great story, if you two can’t get it, that’s your problem, not the writer’s or IDW. It seems that you have a problem with this comic book because it’s based on the movies, and little else that that.

  4. I’m just so glad we rebooted the franchise in order to tell fresh, new stories! Now, on to remaking every TOS episode… with a TWIST!!!! How very M. Night Shamalamadingdong of them.

  5. They are telling original stories in the book, though; the origins of Uhura, Kirk, Scott, McCoy, Chekov, Sulu, Keenser and Hendorff (aka ‘Cupcake’), plus original stories that are sequels and prequels to the movies. They may have more in the future, you never know.
