Star Trek into Darkness‘ Karl Urban will be seen next summer in Universal’s The Loft.
The thriller, a remake of a 2008 Dutch language film, is due to be released August 29, 2014.
In The Loft, “five married guys … keep a loft, which they agree to not discuss with their wives. The purpose is to have an easy place where they can carry out extramarital affairs, of course. But the crap hits the fan when the guys discover the body of an unknown woman and begin to suspect each other in the crime.”
Urban will portray Vincent Stevens. Patrick Wilson was to have played Stevens, but he dropped out of the film at the beginning of shooting.
The Loft is directed by Erik Van Looy.
